This Way to 13 Thursday
1. My dogwood and redbud trees seem to have long lasting blooms this year, but it’s really that I’ve been home every day, and going out now means to the porch to enjoy them.
2. Drive-thru haircuts, anyone?
3. Some say ‘keep the faith’ while others say ‘don’t believe the hype.’
4. Who do you see HERE?
5. John Mellencamp likened the loss of John Prine to “losing Moses.” “He stood on top of the hill and he gave us words of wisdom and truth,” Mellencamp said.
6. “Watch my back” has taken on new meaning since I wretched my back playing on the trampoline with my grandsons.
7. When Gorge Stands for Gorgeous and Columbine is Divine: Joe is the true hiker and has been taking longer hikes on his own. He knew right where to find them. I call him my scout. He starting calling me “mountain goat” after watching me scramble and climb for the best wildflower shots. More HERE

9. I call the above picture Shadow of Yourself
10. The necks are actually tails HERE.
11. “Interesting times we’re living in and I wonder what name we’ll give it when it’s over. Corona Spring is too pretty. Maybe it’ll be The Darkness of the Don. Maybe we’ll call it Twenty-19. It’s not like a hurricane or blizzard, nobody will have great stories to tell, just memories of claustrophobia and social aversion and being thrilled because we didn’t have to go on a ventilator…” Garrison Keillor
12. “And if the whole wide world stops singing / And all the stars go dark / I’ll keep a light on in my soul / Keep a bluebird in my heart…” Miranda Lambert

Most definitely, a smile beneath a mask counts. 🙂
I’ll be sure to smile the next time I do my essential shopping. I love the images you put in my head with your poem, #8. Thanks, Colleen.
They do look like tiny dinosaurs.
