Her Name Was Rumi
Sometimes the best thing you can do at the beach is to go to the pool, especially when it’s 95 degrees, you have a sunburn and the wind at the shore is in full force.
A little girl at the pool gave me a strange look and then asked her daddy, “Why is she in the pool?”
I explained that I was staying at the same hotel as her and that I had a room just like her family did. Then she smiled.
Her name was Rumi.

The water looks very inviting!
I guess Rumi wanted the pool to herself – things are like that now in this day and age!

Beach? Meh.
Pool? Naa.
Just plunk me down under the overhead fan or take me out for an air-conditioned drive & I’m good.
Hermit by nature, I guess.
My Beloved Sandra, though, being the Gulliver she is…hmmmm..not adjusting all that well.
