The Great American Croc Race
Joe named our camp “Camp Quattro,” because there were four of us. It’s actually part of an old Civilian Conservation Corps (a public works program for young men during the Great Depression) Camp along Rock Castle Gorge Creek. The camping is primitive and there’s a short hike in to it.
I think Liam’s tie dye croc (see HERE) won the first round of the creek float race.
One down, or up, rather.
Nature’s cold shower.
The camp breakfast assembly line.
The breakfast club.
Everyone pulled their weight.
But wait! The 2nd day was young and Fairy Stone Lake wasn’t too far away.
“No, I wasn’t napping,” said Joe. _____________Our World Tuesday

Must have been one great time you had. I’m missing camping right now.
