EPIC S-c-r-a-b-b-l-e!
It was only the third time Joe has played Scrabble with me in the 30+ years we’ve been together. In lieu of having no New Year resolution and not being able to play during the pandemic, he asked what I wanted to do more of in the new year. ‘Play Scrabble’ was my answer.
And what a game! More epic than the time we bought each other the same Christmas presents, the time I talked in my sleep and he answered me out loud from a dream or the time we took the same IQ test and ending up scoring the same number (for different reasons). More spooky entanglement, as Einstein would say. Synchronicity said Jung.
Near the end, we were tied! Then Joe (who wasn’t supposed to do that well because I am the Scrabble player) pulled ahead by one point. Then I went out and gained his 1 point letter while he subtracted it. I won by one point!

I wonder if I can retroactively ask the Husband for a birthday gift of him playing a game of Scrabble. Or two. Or three. I’m so greedy. 🙂

Just found this documentation of the 2nd time Joe played with me in 2018. It was a surprise then too. http://looseleafnotes.com/2018/02/is-this-cheating/

An interesting choice of Words! *winks* I wonder if subliminally when we play Scrabble… well… you know… ha ha ha.
