I’ve Always Wanted to Walk Into a Painting and Live There
This is how I get my psychedelics these days.
Immersion art
Where does the paint end and I start?
What’s it like to sit in Van Gogh Chair?
Not like the Three Bears
I’ve always liked Van Gogh’s flowers more than his potato eaters
His “flaming flowers that brightly blaze and swirling clouds in violet haze,” as Don McClean sings in his song “Vincent”
I’m drawn to his poppies and Paris cafes
and wonder about the people who have passed away
I wonder what it would be like to swim in his light
It all comes together on a Starry Night
Check out my post on our Gustav Klimt immersion in Paris in 2018 HERE.

I visited this same (I think) presentation last year in Montreal & was so overwhelmed I almost couldn’t enter, then (once I accommodated myself) could hardly bring myself to leave.
Glad you could do the same.

We stayed through a second round and that’s when we had fun immersing ourselves in the scenes.

What a great effect when including yourselves in the shots. I saw it in Vancouver and it was, indeed, awesome but lacked some animations you were lucky to see.

It’s in Charlotte NC right now, a portable show. We went on Friday, a 2 1/2 hour drive, well worth the ride.

It is fun to see your photos of this exhibit, Colleen. It looks much less crowded than when we saw it in Denver. I tried to make a YouTube video of a few of the scenes but YouTube told me the music was copyrighted so I gave up…lol
