13 Happy Hour
1. Colleen to Joe at the start of our beach vacation: Is it all gravy or groovy from here?
2. Ola or Aloha?
3. I brought a book to read on the beach but was too busy reading the sky, watching birds and people.
4. I got a sunburn my first day HERE.
5. Said to Joe on a white sandy beach of Florida’s Gulf Coast: Bury me in the sand … when I’m dead.
6. He wants a native American-type sky burial, to be lifted on a platform and left for the birds.
7. While everyone else was paying to kiss an alligator, we were watching the wild green parrots in palm trees.
8. I had my first margarita. 
9. There is more than one green parrot in the picture to the right. Look closely; some of them are camouflaged around the top of the palm tree trunk where they are tucked in eating seeds, fruit or something.
10. My favorite sushi roll of the week is called Sexy Lady and my favorite craft brew is called I Yam What I Yam, a spiced Imperial Sweet Potato Ale.

12. I’m suspicious of happy because it rhymes with sappy, often follows “slap” and rarely lasts. It reminds me of jolly, which rhymes with folly, makes me think of giddy, which I imagine is followed by “up”

I’ve been following your exploits, CR, and it’s pretty clear that all is blissful. Yay!
First margarita? Really? It’s been one of my faves for ages; there’s a place up here that makes a rip-yer-head-off Mountain Margarita.

I agree about ‘happy’ . It seems the wrong word for almost anything except maybe a new bike for your birthday, or a new puppy until he wees on your sneakers. Content seems to cover most things better.
