13: Christmas Serenade
1. Someone got a black light for Christmas.
2 . Someone else wore a piñata hat after it was opened with the force of a baseball bat.
3. All the usual suspects were there.
4. And then some.
5. If our annual Cookies and Kahlua Neighborhood Christmas Eve Party was a scene from A Christmas Carol, my son Josh (pictured left above) would be the Ghost of Christmas fun.
7. I call this picture “Pearl Learns to Use the Force.”
8. My son got our grandsons flying drones for Christmas and so did we, so there were lots of them flying around.
9. There was a Christmas serenade here and HERE.
10. And someone got a puppy that was passed around.
11. The Christmas Pinata was a hit!
12. And that’s a wrap!

Looks like you had / are having a great one, CR. I’m very happy for you. We’ve enjoyed our Southern sojourn, spending some time with family and with each other, considering both the similarities and differences of Christmas here in VA vs VT (most notable the 30-40 degree warmer temps).
Christmas Eve on “the kid’s” deck in shirtsleeves sure beat being home in 15 degrees and a wind chill. We’ll be leaving you day after tomorrow, home by New Year’s, but I can certainly see why folks love living here. Still, I’ll be glad to be home after a month because–after all–home is where …
