I was raised (and still practice) that if you don’t show up at least 15 minutes early, you’re late. And if it’s a party, you must arrive at least half an hour early and offer the host assistance with party prep. And if you show up empty-handed (no gift/food/beverage) you should be turned away and never invited again.

That’s what what his lawyer tried to argue at the impeachment but it’s like saying he killed someone and then justified it by saying ‘they were bad and we’re better off (which Trump also did). His defense via the lawyers is ‘he didn’t know better and he’s the victim because you brought up his guilt.’

This administration makes me feel like a domestic violence victim, just constant battering and bruises.
I used to judge things when I bought them by the time it would take me to make the money to purchase it, and if would be something that would last at least 10 times as long as that time or give me 10 times the enjoyment of that much time. It was a good way to stop impulsive spending. I still think about that when making large purchases.

I too calculate purchases against how long it will take me to earn what something costs. Must be a INTJ thing!
